Three years ago, five youths came together. They thought that the banks
have tried their best to help the Kenyan youth but their best has not met our
financial and investments expectations. There still exists a great need and
enormous outcry among Kenyan youth for more promising and affordable financing
options.
These
staring challenges were what led to the coming together of the five visionary
youths to form an investment group. Their aim at the time was to beat the odds
and invest by bringing their funds together. With time, they realized that they
needed to involve more people. Gradually, the idea crystallized into a more
elaborate organization and the first ever youth Sacco was born. Today, G-Jenge Youth Sacco is the only
organization in the country that is focused on empowering Kenyan youths by
providing tailor-made financial products and has opened its doors to youths
across the country.
